I grew up on a junkyard and nearly got killed every single year not to mention Rocky Mountain spotted tick fever at age 9, and if you combine all these things, it makes you look like a drug addict later in life.... these are all JRPGs, where my western RPGs at bro? like pathfinder wrath of the righteous released on the switch, although it doesn't run quite as smoothly like on the other platforms, still kinda fun that you can play the game on the go! and you mentioned FFXII, so where's the rest of the classics? baldur's gate 1 and 2, nevewinter nights, planescape torment, etc... some of the pound for pound, best of the best RPGs of all time

I don't think this was a "hated" game but definitely a forgotten one and a not very well designed game that I absolutely love is Chaos Legion for PS2. Effectively a DMC 1 clone by capcom where you play as a sword wielding summoner. The performance is not the greatest, the story is cheesy as hell, and while there are deep/multiple mechanics it's also pretty simple and repetitive. I swear that if you can gell with the gameplay then you are going to end up feeling either moved by the story, or you are going to laugh at it or maybe even a little bit of both. it can also feel a bit grindy at times much like old DMC

I'd forgotten all about the mad max game. I was gonna give it a few months since I don't trust games that release on pc and just won't try to do anything with keyboard and mouse for controls. If you didn't know, there was a game in the metal max series that hit the west. It was called Metal Saga, and from how you described xeno it seems like its pretty much the same story wise. I am all about adding games to my "to play" list though so I'll pick up the dusk divers at some point.

Personally regarding Mary Skelter, I can't help but think that these games possibly inspired the methods used for Metroid Dread. I know I've been studying them for design ideas at least.

For Codename S.T.E.A.M. apparently the fire emblem amiibos only work on New 3ds xl which is so sad because I have the old one.

The only issue with P5 Strikers I have is it's a style of game I struggle to enjoy. Like, I can't say I hate it for what it is, having played a little of it, but musou style games don't click with me. Same with Real time turn based (or any game that has real time combat but requires you to navigate a menu of some kind for attacks). As far as Soul Hackers 2 goes, there's a few issues. I have some disagreements on you saying the rerelease versions have day 1 dlc, it's included in the base price so it's not dlc, I agree it's a pain it does/needs to exist at all. The real problem with the SH2 DLC is it's nothing worth the price tag. An item booster, extra demons, costumes, and a super boss with 20 floors of nothing special to get to them. I think Soul Hackers 2 is fine by itself, I don't really mind the breakaway from the grungier cyberpunk style the first one had, but boy does Atlus continuously fuck up on their dlc practices.

I remember playing vampire hunter D on my playstation and loving it only rented it though 😢 wish I could have purchased it but that's the difference between child me and adult me 😊

First of all I’m happy to see more people showing love to Xenoblade 2 as it’s my favorite game of all time Second all of these game I think get to much hate except soul hacker 2 for a few reason 1. It is only a soul hacker game in name 2. The gameplay by is some of the worst from an atlus game feeling like a worst version of a persona game with having the worst reward for hitting weaknesses with it just making the big attack at the end of a turn stronger which strange journey did better with co-op attacks plus the level design is so basic for an atlus game with it just mainly being hallways with most other games they do a great job normally so what happened 3. The mother fucking dlc which imma ignore the cosmetics and the story dlc and stick to just the demons as that’s the worst part and imma compare it to the dlc of vengeance and reloaded Vengeance: dagda and the flower lady while should have been in the game had unique quest and battles and it’s only 2 bad but sadly standard Reloaded: personas from persona 5, yu’s persona and kaguya, power creep is cringe but this aren’t demons that are that important Soul hacker 2: first the Jack Frost ringo was a pre order bonus already a bad sign but the dlc demons are iconic demons like Satan, Mara and Masakado plus nemissa and you don’t even get a quest they just show up in your compendium Extra: this game didn’t even have a sprint button on launch which how So in my opinion with these reason plus the game being 60 on launch I get and think the game deserves its hate because this was the scummest shit atlus had and has done

Never played the first two but they look interesting. The rest are all good games. Surprised to find out they are “hated.” Especially Strikers. The only criticism I’ve heard is about the lack of Royal content.

Godzilla for PS4. I bought Overwatch due to the recommendations and hype, but was bummed that there wasn't a solo campaign. I returned it and ended up with a few titles, with Godzilla being one of them. The only flaw is the saving system (or lack thereof), but it's my favorite game to just chill and destroy. Love what you love, and if other people go out of their way to tell you otherwise: good! More for you.

The problem is often many people can't understand people have different tastes and tolerances. They also don't understand they can like something that is bad, and the bad thing still be bad. I just hate when people want to make their thing sound so much better than my thing, when I can point out their own thing is just as if not more bad, especially when it's for the EXACT SAME REASONS MINE IS "SO BAD!" Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, and Twilight Princess for example. I love TP the most, and honestly have little desire to ever play OoT and WW anymore. But why is TP often considered "so bad?" Because Hyrule Field is "so empty." What about the OoT Hyrule Field? And it's 2 or 3 secret pits, a few peahats during day, and stalchildren at night? That's rather empty and bland, too. Also, OoT is old 3D and jank AF. And WW, why is the ocean so beloved by so many? It's very empty and bland to me, to the point it's the primary reason I don't care to go back to that game. WW was also the most "push A to win" game out of the entire series. Also, TP Link vs. WW Link, the debate of expressiveness vs. not. Sure, the toony Link is much more expressive, it's a toony style, and he's like 12 years old, of course he's much more expressive. TP Link isn't nearly as expressive due to the graphics some, but he is older, also has much more deep emotional bonding situations happening around him, often with much darker themes as well. Also, TP has Midna, the best companion by a huge margin. TP is best Zelda, fight me.

I really like Parasite Eve 3rd Birthday. But people just complain about "sexualization" and "its different from the originals". And i bet those people never even played that game or the originals, and were just angry about the cover art.

I actually played poison control its a good game in my opinion i bought it when itcwas on sale on the eshop its worth a play if you like shooters i also have persona 5 strikers i really love the Dynasty warriors style of games and ths game is worth a play for persona fans
